Also, the second zero day flaw stamped as CVE-2023-21715 concerns Microsoft Publisher, the DTP utility from the Redmond firm. This flaw allowed hackers to bypass security functionality on attacked machines. Allowing them to execute macros from a malicious Publisher document without the user being notified.
The third and final zero day flaw discovered by Microsoft teams and listed as CVE-2023-23376, allowed hackers who used it to obtain system privileges on the targeted machine.
