Rumors are always there when something unique and good comes to the market. Similarly, rumors suggest that Qualcomm plans to release the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 one month before its expected release date. Furthermore, it is expected that we will get two versions, a regular one and one for Samsung Galaxy phones, which will be released next year.
Considering this, the early launch of gen 3 chipset will enable Qualcomm to focus on another version. The chipset maker wants to focus more on developing an essential version for Galaxy phones. If the third generation Snapdragon chipset releases a month earlier, it will have to compete with Apple’s A17 Bionic. Furthermore, the last year sensation has outclassed the A16 Bionic chip in single core and multicore scores. Therefore, we can expect the same from the upcoming silicon chip. Most importantly, the upcoming Qualcomm chip will consume 20% less power than its predecessor.
Moreover, the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chip is rumored to easily beat A17 Bionic chip in single core scores. But only October will show which technology will remain dominant until next year.
