If you recall, the Nokia C12 has launched pretty recently. That was an entry-level phone, and it made many understand what Nokia could offer in the low-budget territory. Now, if you think that the Nokia C12 is great, you will be amazed at the Nokia C02.
Ahead of the MWC Barcelona, HMD has silently announced the new entry-level device, the Nokia C02. And it is probably the best phone that you can get if you have a budget constraint.
Quick Look at the Nokia C02
Although the phone is within the super affordable range, it does not skimp one bit in terms of the essentials. The entry-level Nokia C02 comes with a removable battery and a headphone jack. Yes, you read that right. A removable battery phone in 2023.
But that is not all that the phone has to offer. The Nokia C02 even features an IP52 rating, which is something we do not see in the entry-level market these days. Even the screen of the device is pretty great. It has a 5.45-inch LCD panel with an FWVGA+ resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio.

The Nokia C02 features a 2MP selfie shooter on the front, and the back has a 5MP rear shooter. Yes, the camera setup is pretty basic. But you can not really ask for more in this price range. The removable battery is 3000mAh in capacity and charges through a date microUSB port at 5W.
Under the hood, you have an unnamed quad-core SoC. The clock speed of this SoC is at 1.4GHz. And even though it only comes with 2GB of RAM, you have to consider the fact that the Nokia C02 features Android 12 GO Edition. So, the phone should be able to handle day-to-day apps pretty well.
The pricing of the C02 is still unknown. However, we expect it to be around the same price point as the C12. And the phone will be available in Charcoal and Dark Cyan colors.
