Together with Qualcomm, OnePlus has created the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered device that supports Snapdragon Spaces. Snapdragon Spaces is a developer platform for augmented reality (AR) apps. At MWC 2023, the company will unveil this feature. According to OnePlus and Qualcomm, the potential of Qualcomm Wireless AR Wireless Smart Viewers will be shown by the OnePlus 11.
OnePlus claims that its developers have been working “day and night” to make Snapdragon Spaces ready for its most recent flagship mobile phone for the first time in the annals of its ray-tracing-capable flagship 8 Gen 2 processor. This improved degree of interoperability with Qualcomm’s XR2 platform-based Wireless AR Wireless Smart Viewers.
The most recent OxygenOS version comes with Android Hardware Abstraction Layer. This makes it possible for the OnePlus 11 to support Snapdragon Spaces.
