Xiaomi took the wraps off its Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro a few months back in China. Since their release in China, we’ve been waiting for the global debut. As expected, Xiaomi took to the MWC 2023 to bring the two flagships to the International markets. Now, the duo of flagship devices with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, gorgeous displays, new design language, and Leica Cameras are set to compete with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series.
Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro key specs and features
The Xiaomi 13 is a direct competitor of the Samsung Galaxy S23 and its compact form factor. The device has a 6.36-inch OLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and up to 1,900 maximum brightness. The Pro comes with up to 120W fast charging, which is more impressive, for sure. Both devices come with 50W wireless charging and 10W wireless charging. They come with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, IP68 rating, Dolby Atmos Stereo Speakers, and IR Blaster.

Pricing and Availability
Xiaomi is yet to give more details regarding availability. But we expect these devices to hit most of the European countries, as well as India and other Asian markets. The Xiaomi 13 will go on sale on March 8. There are three color options – Black, White, and Floral Green. The price starts at €999 for the 8GB/256 GB variant.
When it comes to the Xiaomi 13 Pro, the device will reach the market on March 8 as well. It will be less colorful with just Ceramic Black and Ceramic White color options. Its price will start from €1,299 for the 12GB/256GB option.
Xiaomi also unveiled the Xiaomi 13 Lite at the event, but we will cover that in a separate article. There are rumors about a Xiaomi 13 Ultra, but the device may be released in the future. Perhaps, we’ll see a mid-year release for it, as there won’t be a Xiaomi 13S series this year. For 2023, the vanilla and Pro will be the only flagships alongside a possible Ultra variant.
