Another smartphone from 2021 gets MIUI 14 update!

MIUI 14

Xiaomi, a Chinese electronics company known for producing smartphones, is currently in the process of updating its devices to the latest versions of Android and its own user interface, MIUI. Last year, the company introduced Android 13 and promptly integrated it into its interface. Now, Xiaomi has announced that it has made MIUI 14 available to compatible devices based on both Android 12 and 13. This includes the Redmi Note 8 2021, which debuted in 2021 and is now eligible for the MIUI 14 update.

According to Xiaomiui‘s report, the global Redmi Note 8 2021 models have received the MIUI 14 update. This new version, which is based on Android 13, is available with build number V14.0.3.0.TCUMIXM. This update brings a host of new features and improvements to the device, including the February 2023 security patch, which greatly enhances system security. The update is 3.1 GB in size, so users should ensure they have sufficient storage space on their devices before attempting to download and install it.

It is worth noting that the MIUI 14 update is currently only available for Mi Pilot users, and will only be released to the general public if no problems are encountered during testing. Although the exact release date is not yet known, it is expected to begin rolling out from the end of this month. Xiaomi has provided a list of all the models that will receive the MIUI 14 global version, which users can consult to see if their device is eligible for the update.

Overall, the MIUI 14 update promises to enhance the user experience for Xiaomi device owners by bringing new features, bug fixes, and security improvements. With the global release imminent, users can look forward to experiencing the latest version of MIUI on their devices. However, it is important to ensure that their device is compatible with the update, and that they have enough storage space to accommodate the 3.1 GB build. By staying informed and taking the necessary precautions, Xiaomi users can ensure a smooth and hassle-free update experience.
