In August 2021, Chinese brand, Xiaomi, released the Redmi 10 mobile phone. This device went on to become one of the company’s best-selling devices. For this reason, the company continues to upgrade the device despite its age. The latest announcement from Xiaomi is the new Sunrise Orange colour version of this device. This version comes with a leather-like textured finish.

In terms of hardware, there is nothing special about this mobile phone. Of course, it is almost two years old and even at launch, it was a mid-range device. The Redmi 10 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon Snapdragon 680 chip which is mid-range standard. In addition to the SD 680 SoC, this device also uses an Adreno 610 GPU.
The Redmi 10 has a 6.71-inch LCD waterdrop display with HD+ resolution, 400nits peak brightness, 60Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, this device uses a large 6000 mAh battery that supports 18W charging and 9W reverse charging. All charging is wired and via a USB Type-C charging port. It also comes with a 10W charging adapter which users can find in the box.

The Redmi 10 also comes with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB UFS 2.2 storage. On the software end, this device uses the MIUI 13 system based on Android 12 is pre-installed. In the camera department, this device comes with a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP portrait camera. In the front, this device has a 5MP front camera for video calls and selfies. On the rear, there is a fingerprint sensor and this device also has a dedicated micro-SD card slot and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Redmi 10 is now available in up to five colour options – Sunrise Orange, Shadow Black, Pacific Blue, Caribbean Green and Midnight Black. The body size is 169.59 × 76.56 × 9.13mm, and the weight is 203 grams. The connectivity options for the phone include dual SIM, 4G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Glonass, and Beidou.
