Will the Redmi K60 Ultra Be a True Flagship Killer of 2023?

Redmi K60 series

At the end of December 2022, Redmi showcased its latest K series phones. The K60 lineup came with the standard K60, K60 Pro, and the K60E. And if you have been following the previous K series releases, the lineup always has an Ultra. So, where is the Redmi K60 Ultra?

New reports suggest that the K60 series will surely see an Ultra phone. And just like before, it will pose to be a flagship killer of the year. But will Redmi integrate killer specs into it? Well, the recent leak has offered us some details regarding it.

Redmi K60 Ultra Specs Tipped

According to Digital Chat Station, a reliable tipster, the K60 Ultra will make its grand entry in the third quarter of 2023. And to recall, the K50 Ultra launched in August 2022. So, the time frame is pretty much perfect for the next K series flagship.

Nonetheless, the leaker also gave us some insight into what the phone might bring to the table. To start with, the K60 Ultra is tipped to come with a 1.5K display with a refresh rate rating. And the phone is likely to come with an OLED panel, which means it will offer crisp and sharp images.

Under the hood, the K60 Ultra might come with a Dimensity 9200 chipset. Again, to recall, the K50 Ultra came with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, a flagship chipset of the time that the phone came out in. So, if the leaker is offering the right information, the performance of the new K series flagship might be less impressive.

Furthermore, the leaker tipped that the K60 Ultra will feature a metallic frame. And while there is no word regarding the battery capacity, the phone might feature 100W charging, which, again, is a negligible downgrade from the K50 Ultra. So, overall, things are not looking great for the phone.
