WhatsApp is always improving in terms of features and security. Almost every week, the world’s most popular instant messaging platform comes with something new. The company has been too focused on improving features, that they forgot about the interface. Truly, WhatsApp has grown in terms of improvements which is a very good thing. However, the company needed to take a break and take a second look at some areas of the user interface.

The company has not really added a lot to the user interface for some time now. But finally, things are about to change. We are about to see some UI changes in certain important areas of the app. According to information shared by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is currently working on an update that will bring some UI changes. This UI changes will mainly affect the attachment menu.

The WhatsApp chat attachment menu has remained the same for quite a while. This makes it look a bit outdated and WhatsApp is redesigning it to give it a more modernized design. The new interface looks a lot simpler and cleaner than what we have now. WhatsApp Update

WhatsApp has decreased the sizes of the icons to make it easier for users to navigate. This also allows more space on the sheet for other features, just in case the company wants to add a new button. As you can see in the screenshot above, the new interface also comes with more brightened colors for the icons. The current design on Android comes with solid dual colors but this new update will make things look very simple with single colored-icons.

When is the New Update Coming?

As it stands now, the new update is under development and could pass through beta testing very soon. WhatsApp does not really announce lunch dates for new features. However, we will keep close tabs on the report and share the news once there is any new development.
