Samsung is suddenly taking the Galaxy A series seriously. Maybe, it is for changing the tides in the market. Or maybe, it is for making good Galaxy devices accessible to all. No matter the case, we are all in for great affordable smartphones. And it seems that the Galaxy A24 is not going to disappoint in that regard.
Now, although the device is far from the official launch event, its promotional materials just got leaked. Tech website Gadgety shared all those materials, which tell us pretty much everything we needed to know about the entry-level beast. And even though the Galaxy A24 is specced lower than the A34 and A54, it is surely doing a lot of things right.
In-Depth Look At the Specs of Galaxy A24
So, the Galaxy A24 will come with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display on the front. Unlike some of the other entry-level devices in the market, Samsung integrated an FHD+ panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. The display has a U-shaped notch, which houses a 13MP selfie camera.

According to the leak, the display has a maximum brightness rating of 1000 nits. And under the hood of the Galaxy A24, you will find a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. Samsung paired that SoC up with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Of course, you can add 1TB of additional storage with the microSD card slot.
On the back, the Samsung Galaxy A24 comes with a triple camera setup. The primary camera is a 50MP sensor with OIS. Yes, OIS! It has an f/1.8 aperture, which should enable the camera to take great pictures. The other two are a 2MP macro camera and a 5MP ultrawide sensor.
A 5000mAh battery powers the internals of the Galaxy A24, which has 25W fast charging capabilities. Overall, if Samsung puts an appealing price tag on the device, it will definitely sell like hotcakes.
