Huawei is back! The Chinese brand is gearing up to launch a plethora of new products. These include the highly-anticipated Huawei P60 series. However, more devices are coming like the Huawei Mate X3 foldable, and the Enjoy 60. Now, it seems that the brand may also introduce the Huawei MatePad 11 2023 on the same date. Today, a set of leaked specs have emerged revealing what we can expect from the new slate.
Huawei MatePad 11 2023 specifications
The new leaked specs sheet comes as a courtesy from the tipster Digital Chat Station. According to him, the Huawei MatePad 11 2023 will pack an 11-inch 2,560 x 1,600 LCD screen with a max refresh rate of 120 Hz. Despite its “2023” name, the phone packs the old Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 CPU. This chipset has been widely used on tablets but is starting to get old. Anyway, it will still deliver acceptable performance and is much better than most of the mid-range CPUs available in the market. The CPU will come paired with 8 GB of RAM. On the storage side of things, there will be 128 GB or 256 GB.

Moderate battery with slow charging
The tipster also confirms a moderate 7,250 mAh battery with just 22.5W charging. It’s bigger than most smartphones, but taking in mind the Huawei MatePad 11 2023 will have an 11-inch panel with high resolution, and the battery is not too big. For comparison, the Oppo Pad 2 has 9,510 mAh of battery capacity. The charging is also slow for smartphones and a tablet like this one. We assume that Huawei wants to make this a budget tablet with a powerful chipset. If that is the case, then the charging is on par with mid-range offerings. In terms of software, the slate will run HamonyOS 3.1.
Unfortunately, there are no details regarding the camera specs. We expect the Huawei MatePad 11 2023 to bring a single main camera and another one for selfies and video calls. The device is rumored to bring a “soft screen version”. The report states it could be a matter variant with a focus on handwriting with a stylus. The device will sell in Four colors – Purple, Black, Blue, and White.
The tablet will launch as an extra on March 23 event. After all, the eyes will be all around the upcoming Huawei P60 and P60 Pro. The devices are set to debut impressing cameras with Huawei’s expertise.
