Tomorrow will be a big day for all Huawei fans across the world. The company will have a new event focused on the Chinese market, that will bring some relevant products. Among them, we have the highly-anticipated Huawei P60 and P60 Pro, which are set to bring impressive cameras. The company will also unleash the Huawei Enjoy 6, and perhaps a new tablet. New reports also confirm the Huawei Mate X3. The company’s foldable lineup is back with another generation. As per a leaked set of specifications, the new Huawei Mate X3 will leave nothing to be desired in the foldable segment.
Despite all the ban consequences, Huawei is still a nice house of ideas. For that reason, it’s natural to be hyped for its upcoming event. We are curious to see what the company will do with a new generation of horizontally-folding smartphones. Today, the tipster Digital Chat Station comes with a specs sheet for the upcoming device.
Huawei Mate X3 leaked details – a solid competitor for the Galaxy Z Fold4
According to the tipster, the Huawei Mate X3 will pack a 7.8-inch inner display with 1080p resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Despite the “1080p” we don’t expect it to be a conventional Full HD or Full HD+ resolution. Huawei will certainly adapt it to the device’s form factor, so we may see a slight variation in the pixels, but that will still be close to the 1080p territory. Moving around to the outer display, it will have a 6.45-inch AMOLED panel. We believe it will also pack a Full HD+ resolution. Although the refresh rate is not confirmed, we expect it to have 90Hz at the very least.
Gizchina News of the week
In terms of optics, the main camera will be a 50 IMX766 shooter. The device is also confirmed to bring a periscope zoom unit. So the Huawei Mate X3 will not play games when it comes to photography. The company will also introduce wireless charging and IPX8 water resistance. To make things more interesting is that the new hinge will allow the phone to open at different angles. If there is something that needs improvement on the current foldable is the hinge technology. Huawei can easily make its device more appealing with a hinge that stands against the Galaxy Z Fold 4’s implementation.
The phone will draw its power from a 4,800 mAh battery complete with 66W fast charging. We expect it to be running with HarmonyOS 3.1. The phone will pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, of course, without 5G connectivity. It is expected to be paired with 12 GB of RAM.
Huawei Mate X3 will face tough competition in China
Thankfully, we don’t need to wait much longer to see the Huawei Mate X3 in all its glory. Stay tuned for the full coverage of Huawei’s upcoming event. Right now, we don’t if the device will reach the global market. When it comes to China, it will have a tough battle. Right now, there are multiple competitors in the Chinese market, from brands like Oppo, Vivo, and Honor
Huawei Mate X3 is the best foldable soon available, no one can beat it, it has no competition at this quality level.
