For instance, the new Nothing Ear (2) brings LHDC 5.0 audio codec support. It allows the user to stream Hi-Res Audio. The buds also feature a new personalized sound profile. It lets you calibrate the buds to your specific hearing. You just need to take a test and tweak it through the Nothing X companion app. Through the app, you can configure the equalizer for a distinct audio experience.

The Nothing Ear (2) also comes with an upgraded ANC. It should be superior to the previous model. Moreover, the company updated the 11.6 mm drivers with a new diaphragm unit. It was made with graphene and polyurethane materials. The Voice pickup is also reworked to improve wind-proof and overall sound isolation. Another interesting feature is the dual pairing. So you can pair the device to distinct audio sources in a seamless form.
Nothing states that the Nothing Ear (2) battery life is up to 36 hours with the charging case. The company did not reveal how long each earbud will last. The earbuds charge when attached to the case, and you can charge it via USB Type-C or wireless at a max rate of 2.5W. The new buds also support Google Fast Pair for Android devices and Microsoft Swift Pair for Windows users. The case offers an IP55 rating, while the earbuds have an IP54 rating. The case can withstand dust and water splashes, while the earbuds will resist dust and water spray.
The Nothing Ear (2) will cost about $149 / €149 / £129. They are already up for pre-orders through nothing.tech website. The official sales will begin on March 28.
