Xiaomi Pad 6 launch is closer – new leak reveals

According to popular Weibo tech blogger @DCS, the coming Xiaomi Pad 6 will be official pretty soon. The leakster also reveals that the model number of this new device is 23046PR50C. In terms of specs, this tablet will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. This will make it the only tablet with this flagship chip in the short term. Whether this will give the tablet a sales advantage, especially in China where its sales are high remains to be seen. On AnTuTu, the chip scores over 1.1 million points. With this chip alone, the Xiaomi Pad 6 will easily become the most powerful tablet in Xiaomi’s history.

The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC is based on TSMC’s 4nm process. The CPU is composed of Cortex-X2 + 3 Cortex-A710 + 4 Cortex-A510. The frequencies of these cores are 3.19GHz, 2.75GHz, and 2.02GHz respectively. According to the official, in comparison with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, the total power usage of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 reduces by 15%. In addition, the power consumption of the CPU and GPU  reduces by 30%. It is a decent increase from the SD8 Gen1 SoC.

In addition to the flagship SoC that this tablet will bring, it will also come with a 2.8K LCD screen. This display is equipped with a high screen – to – body ratio than the previous Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 series. Also, the Xiaomi Pad 6 will use a camera module that is similar in style to the flagship Xiaomi 13. As of now, there is no information on the battery capacity of this device. However, we know that the battery will support 67W wired flash charging.

In terms of the launch date, the speculations so far reveal that this device will launch in April which starts in two days. Considering that Xiaomi 13 Ultra has obtained the network access license, Xiaomi Pad 6 is likely to launch at the same event as the Xiaomi 13 Ultra.
