Gizchina News of the week
As per the rumors, the Vivo X Fold2 will pack the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. That will make this phone the first foldable of 2023 with Qualcomm’s flagship CPU. Another first will be the dual ultrasonic fingerprint sensors. Each screen will have one. That’s innovative because most brands have a side-mounted sensor for using it with both screens.
Other specs include a 4,800 mAh battery with 120W fast charging. The leaker Digital Chat Station also revealed some of the camera details. The phone will bring a Sony IMX866 sensor with OIS, and Vivo’s V2 ISP. The main camera will be the same 50 MP shooter on the Vivo X90 and iQOO 11 Pro. Of course, we can also expect the whole set of software tweaks that arrived with the X90 series. Moreover, we also expect ZEISS tuning for this phone.
Besides the Vivo X Fold2, we also expect the Vivo X Flip to tag along. Last but not least, Vivo is expected to launch a new tablet – Vivo Pad 2 – just like Oppo did this month. As for the Vivo X Note, it seems that the last year’s flagship will not be getting a sequel. We’ll learn more in the upcoming days.
