You don’t need to be a fan of Apple iPhones to agree that the brand still has a lot of power-dictating tendencies. It can make a good lemonade out of its lemons, and usually, the smartphone industry will follow. The company introduced the weird centered pill-shaped notch for the iPhone 14 series, but to make them useful, it brought the Dynamic Island. There is a virtual cutout that offers some neat features and animations to keep you on track with notifications and other info. Some brands like Realme decided to follow with their own take on Dynamic Island. The company brought the Realme C55 with Dynamic Island last month, and now is launching the Realme Narzo N55 with the same feature.
Obviously, Realme has its own name for this feature that goes as “Mini Capsule”. With the launch of the Realme Narzo N55, users will have one more chance to experiment with this neat feature. The Mini Capsule can shoot the battery status, data usage, and step count. The company is building the feature and we expect more features to be added. To help you understand, take in mind that the latter two features are not available out of the box, and will arrive through OTA.

In terms of optics, the phone has a modest approach. There is a 64 MP main camera and a 2 MP monochrome unit. For selfies and video calls, the device has an 8 MP snapper tucked inside the mini capsule. The Narzo N55 runs Android 13 with Realme UI 4.0 running atop. The device also brings a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, UltraBoom Speaker, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It packs a USB Type-C port, a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC charging, and more.
The Narzo N55 is basically a rebranded Realme C55. Curiously, Realme will sell these two super similar phones in India. While the Realme C55 is sold by Flipkart, the N55 will be sold through Amazon.in. Anyway, you can get both from Realme’s official website.
The Narzo N55 sells in Prime Blue and Prime Black color options. The phone has two memory options 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB. It costs INR 10,999 ($135/€120) and INR 12,999 ($160/€145), respectively. Sales will begin on April 13 at noon local time in India.
The recent months have been filled by performance devices from Realme like the Realme GT3 and GT Neo5 SE. Now, it seems that the company will start to upgrade its budget line.
