Huawei’s smart band and smartwatches have started a brand-new journey. Regarding watches, the Chinese manufacturer has been pushing its limit by integrating advanced technologies inside the offerings. And let’s not forget that the recent smartwatches also come with an unprecedented design. Well, it seems that the Huawei Band 8 will go through the same road.
The Chinese manufacturer has surprised the fans by releasing a teaser promo image of Band 8. This promo comes with a slogan: “Standing edge full screen, light and thin and then evolved!.” These words say a lot about the upcoming wearable. So, it goes without saying that the fans are expecting some big upgrades.
Huawei Band 8 Announced
There’s really no need to speculate too much about the Huawei Band 8. The promo picture revealed most of the important details about the wearable. According to the picture, the upcoming wearable of Huawei will come with a redesigned frame with flat sides.

The image shows the material of the frame, which appears more like ceramic than metal. That alone hints that the Band 8 will feature a much more robust build quality than the Band 7. Furthermore, the promo picture confirmed that the wearable would be available in three colors: Sakura Pink, Green, and Dark Black.
All three color options of the Huawei Band 8 will come with matching straps, which will surely offer a seamless look. By taking a closer look, you will notice that there’s some carving on the belt. Huawei might have opted for such a design to enhance the comfort level of the strap.
Other than that, the screen of the Huawei Band 8 appears to be bright. And even though the rectangular shape is reminiscent of Band 7, the display seems to be taller than its predecessor. Even with the same shape, the frame’s improvements make the band look pretty appealing, which the consumers will definitely appreciate.
So, when will Huawei release the Band 8? According to the promo, the wearable will debut with Nova 11 series on April 17.
