South Korean manufacturing giant, Samsung, is one of the major brands in the foldable mobile phone market. The next-gen foldable phones from Samsung are the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5. According to recent reports, these foldable mobile phones will hit the public earlier than expected. According to reports, Samsung will begin mass production of the hinges for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 in early June.
Before now, Samsung starts the production of hinges at the end of June. However, due to the advanced production of hinges, there are reports that this will happen earlier. In fact, the latest report claims that Samsung will release new Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 folding screens at the end of July. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 will use a different type of hinge. The new hinge allows the phone to fold completely flat without leaving a small gap between the phone’s “halfs” of the screen. Samsung may need more time to manufacture the new design of the hinge.
