In case you missed it, Amazfit debuted its GTR 4 watch back in September 2022. And it recently brought out the GTR Mini, which came with premium features but an affordable price tag. Now, the company has followed up the GTR lineup with a special rendition, the Amazfit GTR 4 Limited Edition.
As you can guess, the Amazfit GTR 4 Limited Edition builds up on the specs and features of the standard model. However, being a Limited Edition, it revamps the design of the smartwatch. And the biggest highlight of the watch is that it comes with a stainless steel frame.
A Closer Look Into the Amazfit GTR 4 Limited Edition
The Amazfit GTR 4 Limited Edition boasts a 1.43-inch curved AMOLED display. It has an elegant crown that’s made of 316L stainless steel. This beautiful-looking crown has Amazfit written on it, which, in my opinion, looks very classy. The crown comes alongside a button, boasting a design that sets the smartwatch apart from the regular GTR 4.
Other than that, the middle frame of the GTR 4 Limited Edition is also made of stainless steel. On the other hand, the back panel is made of glass-ceramic material. The regular GTR 4, in comparison, came with a high-gloss sprayed PC rear panel and aluminum alloy mid-frame.
Another thing that makes the GTR 4 Limited Edition stand out is the newly designed Fluroelastomer straps. Compared to the Fluroelastomer straps of the GTR 4, the ones of the Limited Edition look different. However, both of them are 22mm wide, come with a pin buckle, and feature an adjustable width of 150-215mm. So, if you have the straps of the regular GTR 4, you can use them on the Limited Edition.
Gizchina News of the week
As you might have guessed, the premium build of the Amazfit GTR 4 Limited Edition increases the thickness and weight. The Limited Edition is 11.2 mm thick and weighs 49 grams. On the contrary, the regular GTR 4 is 10.6 mm thick and weighs 34 grams.
Battery Life
Both versions of the Amazfit GTR 4 have support for wireless magnetic charging. And interestingly, both of them pack the same 475 mAh battery. This battery is advertised to last for 14 days in a typical usage scenario. Also, the battery takes around two hours to fully charge.
However, the Amazfit GTR 4 Limited Edition is advertised to last longer in the endurance mode. It can last up to 28 days, while the regular edition lasts up to 24 days.
When it comes to heavy usage, the GTR 4 Limited Edition can offer up to 8 days of runtime, while the regular mode offers up to 7 days. And in GPS accuracy mode, you are looking at 28 hours from the Limited Edition. The regular can offer up to 25 hours. Finally, the power-saving GPS mode makes the Limited Edition last 55 hours, while the regular can last for 52 hours in that mode.
Fitness Data Tracking and Price of Amazfit GTR 4 Limited Edition
Like the regular Amazfit GTR 4, the Limited Edition can connect to heart rate belts. That will enable you to get access to multi-dimensional fitness data tracking. There is support for more than 15 indoor and outdoor sports modes, including swimming. It can also detect eight sports movements automatically, which will make tracking easier.
When it comes to pricing, the Amazfit GTR 4 Limited Edition has a $249.99 price tag. In comparison, the regular edition goes for $50 less. You can get it from the Amazfit official website and Amazon. And it is available in a single Black color only. You can also get it from AliExpress in the future.
