The Realme 10 series may not be old enough for you, but that won’t prevent the Realme 11 series from rising. After a number of leaks and certification processes, Realme finally confirmed its intent of updating the numbered family of mid-range phones. The new phone series will make its big debut on May 11. As it seems, the company is running to bring handsets that offer more competition to the Redmi Note 12 series. We have to agree that the Realme 10 series lacked some appeal in aspects like performance and innovation. The Realme 11 series promises to fix this with better specs and a new design.
The Realme 11 series will make its official debut on May 10. The info was confirmed by Realme itself via its Weibo handle. This basically confirms we are going for a Chinese launch first. However, the phone already crossed some important global regulators including India’s BIS. So it will be just a matter of time until the new numbered series appear on international markets.
Realme 11 Pro and Pro+ alleged specifications
We already know that Realme is preparing a 11 Pro+ and now a Realme 11 5G was certified by 3C in China. Obviously, we also expect a regular Realme 11 Pro to tag along with these devices. As per the most recent leak, the Realme 11 5G will bring 33W fast charging. We expect that to be paired with a 5,000 mAh battery as usual for Realme mid-range phones.
Gizchina News of the week
The Realme 11 Pro, or Pro+ (we can’t confirm which one is which yet) will bring a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display. It will likely be an OLED display, considering that the Realme 10 Pro+ has one. The Realme 11 Pro+ will keep the curved display of its predecessor. This is one thing that makes Realme different from mid-range phones. The panel should have up to 120 Hz refresh rate. There is an all-new design language for Realme phones. We have a circular camera island in the center that resembles some Huawei Mate phones of the past. This will comprise a 200 MP camera, which will likely be the same ISOCELL snapper on the Redmi Note 12 Pro+.
The 11 Pro is said to bring a 4,780 mAh battery with 67W fast charging, while the Pro+ may increase that speed to 100W. One of the most exciting details is that Digital Chat Station claims the 11 Pro+ will bring a new Dimensity 7 series chip. Although it still requires confirmation, we believe this has to do with the Dimensity 7000 series like the recently-released Dimensity 7200. That would put the Realme 11 Pro+ on par with the Redmi Note 12 Turbo/POCO F5.
