The rumors regarding the upcoming Beats Studio Buds+ have been floating around for about a month now. Basically, the iOS 16.4 beta update gave away the pre-release images of the earbuds. But ever since then, things have been a little quiet for the earbuds.
However, at this point, there is not much left for Apple-owned Beats to reveal about the upcoming Studio Buds+, especially Amazon spoiling everything for the earbuds. Wondering what did Amazon do? Well, it prematurely published the retailed listing of the upcoming Studio Buds Plus. And that gave pretty much everything away.
Main Highlights of Beats Studio Buds+
So, the Amazon listing has just confirmed that the Beats Studio Buds+ will look similar to the existing Beats Studio Buds. That means you can expect to see a stemless design and a small plastic case. And just like the regular Studio Buds, the Plus version is meant to be a sporty alternative to Apple AirPods. Also, they are considered to be AirPods for Android.
But the most important thing that the Amazon listing has confirmed is the brand-new design. That is, the Beats Studio Buds+ will come in a transparent design that seems to have taken inspiration from Nothing Ear (2) buds. But in my opinion, the transparent case of the Studio Buds Plus looks better than the Nothing Ear (2).
Other than that, the Beats Studio Buds+ will be available in two other colors: Ivory and Black. So, if you are not a fan o the transparent design, you can still pick the buds up in a sleek color configuration.
Core Specs of Beats Studio Buds Plus
9to5Mac was able to gather all the crucial data before Amazon took down the listing for the Beats Studio Buds+. According to it, the earbuds will offer up to 36 hours of battery life with a single charge. In comparison, the regular Studio Buds can offer up to 32 hours of run time.

But the battery is not the only factor where the buds saw an improvement. The Beats Studio Buds Plus improves a lot in the sound department. According to the listing, the earbuds have a new venting system that improves the ear pressure. It even has 3x large microphones, which will result in a better calling experience.
In addition, the Beats Studio Plus can offer 1.6x better Active Noise Cancellation power than the predecessor. The performance in the Transparency mode also sees a 2x improvement. And the best part is that there are improvements to iPhone and Android features such as automatic device switching, one-touch pairing, Hey Siri, and Find My support.
Moreover, the Beats Studio Buds+ has support for spatial audio, which will let you enjoy surround sound pretty much anywhere and everywhere. And thanks to the Beatsā acoustic custom platform, you can expect to get a rich, detail-filled, and immersive sound experience even when taking calls.
To improve the sound experience even further, the Studio Buds Plus has a custom two-layer transducer. It can flex to deliver ultra-low distortion and cleaner bass.
Fit and Price
The Studio Buds Plus will come with four different ear tips. Depending on the size of your ear, you can roll with the XS, S, M, or L ear tips. As Beats offers four different sizes, you really do not need to worry much about not getting a solid acoustic seal.
When it comes to the price tag, according to the Amazon listing, the Beats Studio Buds Plus will go for $169.95. And Beats will start shipping them on May 18, which means that the official announcement is coming very soon.
