WhatsApp, the world’s most popular messaging app, has announced a revolutionary new feature that will delight users. Now, for the first time ever, it will be possible to use the same WhatsApp account on multiple phones. Fulfilling one of the most requested functions ever by users.
WhatsApp introduces a new feature allowing one account to be used on 4 smartphones
Although the option was initially glimpsed a few weeks ago in the Android beta version, WhatsApp has now confirmed the global implementation of this feature, which will begin today. However, it may take a few weeks before all users have access to it.
So how does it work? Similar to WhatsApp Web, you can connect your primary phone to a second smartphone, tablet, or computer. Each device can be connected independently, always with end-to-end encryption on all personal messages, media, and calls.

It’s important to note that you cannot have two different WhatsApp accounts on the same phone. However, you can use the same account to message from different phones. Not using the primary device for a while? It will disconnect your account from all secondary devices. The disconnection happens automatically.
Syncing will always keep your chats up-to-date. So you can switch from one phone to another without disconnecting from the previous device. This applies to WhatsApp Web/Desktop. And you can connect up to a maximum of four different devices with the same account associated with it.
In addition to this major launch, WhatsApp will also be changing the way your primary account connects to secondary devices to speed things up. You won’t need to scan a QR code anymore. You can enter your phone number directly on WhatsApp Web. This will send you a one-time password (OTP). You can use the OTP to connect an additional device.
This new option will first be available on WhatsApp Web and later on other additional devices as well. With this groundbreaking update, WhatsApp continues to improve its user experience and meet the evolving needs of its users.
