The POCO F5 series is set to make its official debut on May 9. The world’s acclaimed POCO F-series will soon be updated with the POCO F5 and POCO F5 Pro. As usual, these phones are based on existing Redmi phones, the Redmi K60 and Redmi Note 12 Turbo, respectively. Most of the specifications will be similar, but there will be some changes in the case of the POCO F5 Pro. The brand is trying to keep the hype alive with new teasers. Today, it shared a new teaser for the POCO F5 Pro.

POCO F5 Pro

The new teaser confirms the POCO F5 Pro with a flat WQHD+ display, we know it’s an OLED panel and there is a centered punch-hole for the selfie shooter. The image also shows a power button on the right frame and the volume rocker on the top. The phone has a USB Type-C port at the bottom flanked by a SIM card slot, microphone, and speaker. There are no antenna lines on the phone’s frame. So we assume it’s just plastic.

Gizchina News of the week

The rear portion of the phone remains a mystery, but we expect the same language as the Redmi K60. Obviously, there should be some usual POCO identity things in the visual. The brand took the opportunity to show POCO F5 in a new color. It features a pattern on the back panel that is very similar to the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. We can also sport the triple-camera setup with a 64 MP shooter leading the way. The POCO F5 will pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2.

The POCO F5 Pro will be a rebadged Redmi K60 and that means the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 will be at the helm. The phone, however, is expected to bring a different battery capacity and miss wireless charging. We expect POCO to keep the two handsets in the coming days.
