Motorola has uncovered a flagship phone for the US market, the Moto Edge+ (2023). It comes with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 engine and a display with a refresh rate of 165Hz. What’s better, it comes for a much lower price. This handset will compete with the Pixel 7 Pro, Galaxy S23 Ultra, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Moto Edge+ (2023) Highlights
The Moto Edge+ (2023) appears to be the global version of the Moto Edge 40 Pro. But there is a noticeable difference – the Edge+ has a massive 5,100mAh battery in comparison to the Edge 40 Pro’s 4,600mAh battery. In other words, the Moto Edge+ (2023) has the largest battery ever among all Moto flagships.
The Moto Edge+ (2023) sports a 6.67-inch 1080x2400px AMOLED screen with an adjustable refresh rate of 165Hz. It also supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. There’s a 60MP selfie camera on the front that can record 4K videos.
The new phone has a flagship camera setup on the back. The 50MP f/1.8 primary camera has a 1/1.55-inch sensor and optical image stabilization. Next to it is a 12MP f/1.6 portrait camera with 2x zoom and a 1/2.93-inch sensor. The third camera is a 50MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens with autofocus and macro capability.
