Although it is rumored that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will look similar to its predecessor, the case will not be the same for the Galaxy Z Flip 5. Previous rumors have already shed light on the large external display that Samsung is currently working on. And with Motorola getting ready to debut the Razr+ 2023 with a large cover display, it’s the right time for Samsung to change its Flip phone’s design.
However, until now, we did not have any confirmation regarding the major makeover. But with the case leak of the Galaxy Z Flip 5, it’s safe to say that Samsung has finalized the core design of the flip phone. On that note, the picture shared by Ice Universe also confirms the overall layout of the Z Flip 5’s back. As you can see, the external display will indeed have a folder-like shape. And to be honest, as the rumored renders showcased, the design looks amazing.
Now, based on the previous information, the folder-shaped external display of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be 3.4 inches in size. That screen real estate will be more than enough to let you run widgets, see notifications, and enjoy much more features than the Z Flip 4. And you will be able to see it all in action when Samsung unveils the flip phone at the end of July. At least, that is when we are expecting Samsung to officially announce the phone.
