Yesterday, on Poco’s website, two new smartphones appeared ahead of today’s official launch. But the pages were removed immediately. Today, the company uncovered two phones in the F5 series. One of them will land in India, while the Pro version will go global (Europe). The new flagship portfolio of POCO F-Series includes two devices. At the top of the list is the F5 Pro 5G, followed by the entry-level F5 5G.
POCO has also announced that F5 5G buyers in India will receive an additional year of warranty coverage.
POCO F5: Everything You Should Know
The POCO F5 5G offers two storage options. The model with 8-gigabyte of RAM costs Rs 29,999 ($365), while the 12-gigabyte RAM version costs Rs 33,999 ($414). Three color options—Electric Blue, Snowstorm White, and Carbon Black—are available to choose from.
Customers may receive a discount of Rs 3,000 ($36.5) as part of the launch deals on the 8GB RAM model for Rs 26,999 ($329), while the 12GB RAM option is available for Rs 30,999 ($378). Also, customers who trade in their existing POCO smartphone will receive an additional Rs 1,000 ($12) off of the F5 5G via Flipkart.
The POCO F5 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor, which uses a 4nm manufacturing process. It has a 5000mAh battery that supports 67W rapid charging. On the rear, there is a triple camera arrangement. The phone’s 64-megapixel primary camera supports optical image stabilization (OIS). There are also 8-megapixel ultrawide and 2-megapixel macro sensors.

The phone sports a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies. A 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz is located on the front. The top-center of the screen features a hole-punch cutout for the front camera. A fingerprint scanner located on the side and a 3.5mm headphone port are included.
The Pro model
On the other hand, the F5 Pro was introduced with storage choices of 8GB + 128GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB. The 8-gigabyte RAM basic model is available for $449, while the 12-gigabyte RAM + 256GB variant costs $499. Last, the most expensive 12GB + 512GB model costs $549. The phone is offered in the colorways Black and White.

As for the higher version, the POCO F5 Pro has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. AMOLED touchscreen with a 6.67-inch size and a 2K resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels is another highlight of this phone.
