The foldable mobile phone market is getting more attention and several brands are now releasing their own model. The latest foldable phone as of now is the Google Pixel Fold which was released a few days ago. However, before the Pixel Fold, we had many foldable phones dating back to 2019. Now, OnePlus has officially confirmed that its first folding screen phone will debut later this year. The official announcement did not reveal any details of the phone. However, a recent report from 91mobile claims that OnePlus will launch two phones with folding screens namelyĀ OnePlus V Fold and OnePlus V Flip. Just like other mobile phones, these foldable phones will be an addition to the market and compete with preexisting devices.

OnePlus V Fold to use a 50MP camera

The report reveals info about the appearance and camera of the new folding screen phone. It claims that the OnePlus V Fold design will be consistent with that of the OPPO Find N3. In addition, the camera module design of this phone will be similar to theĀ OPPO Find X6. In the camera department, this device will come with a 50MP IMX890 sensor. This is in addition to a 48MP IMX581 ultra-wide-angle lens and a 32MP periscope camera.

The OnePlus V Fold, the company’s first phone with a folding screen, is rumoured to go on sale in August or Sept. The new phone will have a built-in 8-inch 2K AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. As for the OnePlus V Flip, it is a vertically folding phone from OnePlus that can be folded up and down. At the moment, there are expectations that these devices will launch at the same event. However, it is good to note that there is no official report from OnePlus about the specs of these mobile phones. Thus, all we have at the moment are leaks and speculations which as we know are subject to change.
