Oppo’s new cheap smartphone promises four years of fluidity

While high-end phones are designed to offer a satisfactory experience for years, affordable models tend to suffer as the years go by. Fortunately, some smartphone brands have taken note of this problem and are working to address it.

Oppo’s budget-friendly smartphone ensures a smooth experience for four years

One such brand is OPPO, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer that has recently unveiled a new model of its F series. According to the brand, this new model is capable of providing a smooth and lag free experience for four years.

The OPPO F23 is an affordable smartphone that boasts a design similar to other models from the company. It features a plastic body with a slightly curved back and a matte finish that comes in two colors: black and gold. The phone has a 6.6-inch diagonal LCD panel with Full HD+ resolution. It can reach a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 680 nits.

Under the hood, the OPPO F23 is running the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor manufactured in a 6 nanometer format and equipped with a 5G modem. The phone comes with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. And it comes with a battery capacity of 5000 mAh. It supports 67 W SuperVOOC fast charging.

Based on this combination of features, OPPO claims that the device is capable of offering a smooth and lag-free experience for at least 48 months from the time it is first taken out of its box.

The OPPO F23’s camera system features a 64 megapixel sensor as the main lens. It comes with two 2-megapixel sensors for macro captures and portraits.

Currently, the OPPO F23 is only available in India and can be purchased via the brand’s official online store. The phone cost 28,999 rupees, which is approximately $350. It is available in two colors and a single memory and storage configuration.
