The evaluators did find some positive aspects of the Nothing Phone 1’s screen. They praised its fluid and precise touch when browsing, viewing applications from the gallery, and playing games. The screen also has good brightness in low light environments and good color reproduction in indoor and outdoor lighting conditions.

However, there were also some negative aspects of the screen that the evaluators pointed out. The screen lacked brightness and readability in external lighting conditions. And the lack of uniformity of the screen in terms of brightness and color made it difficult to use. Frequent and visible image speed problems were also noted when playing games.

Gizchina News of the week

Despite the mixed review, the DxOMark team concluded that the Nothing Phone 1’s display performance was smooth, accurate, and responsive, providing a comfortable tactile experience when browsing the web or using social media.

It’s important to note that the Nothing Phone 1’s screen is a 6.55-inch OLED with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The screen has a ratio of 86.4% between the screen and the body of the device and a density of 402 PPI. These specs make it a decent phone screen overall. But it’s clear that it doesn’t quite measure up to the top performers in the market.

In conclusion, the Nothing Phone 1’s screen has its strengths and weaknesses. While the evaluators praised its responsiveness and accuracy, they also pointed out some significant flaws, particularly in external lighting conditions. It’s important to keep in mind that the Nothing Phone 1 is a relatively new device, and there may be room for improvement in future iterations. For now, however, if you’re looking for a phone with a top notch screen, there may be better options out there.
