Foxconn is one of the largest electronics manufacturers in the world. The Taiwan based company has been involved with the manufacturing of a lot of great smartphones around the world. Notably, Foxconn has been the name behind the manufacturing of phones like Apple’s iPhone, Nokia, Google Pixel, Xiaomi etc. However, Apple has been considered to be Foxconn’s biggest partner for many years now. As partners, Foxconn is making a lot of preparations towards the production of the iPhone 15 series. Last year’s iPhone 14 series faced a couple of manufacturing issues due to the COVID-19 in China. The company saw a lot of its employees protesting over bad working conditions. This protest also led to over 20,000 workers resigning from their jobs.
This year, Foxconn is determined to avoid a similar incident from occurring. Therefore, the company is putting the right structures in place to make sure that the production of iPhone 15 series will be a smooth ride.

Foxconn to Motivate New Employees
The company is placing motivational packages in place to encourage both new and old employees to tackle the task ahead. According to reports, Foxconn has announced that new workers joining its plant in Zhengzhou, China, will be eligible for bonuses of up to 3,000 yuan ($424; £343). However, there is a little condition attached to the offer. That they remain employed for a minimum of 90 days. This incentive is aimed at encouraging employee retention and providing an additional financial reward for those who stay with the company for the specified duration. Such measures are commonly implemented by companies to attract and retain talent in a competitive job market.
Foxconn’s Package for Old Employees
Foxconn also has something for old employees. It says that old employees who refer their friends or family members will automatically qualify for an award. According to a post seen by BBC on WeChat, employees who refer new recruits get CNY500 ($70) if the person stays in the company for just a month. And they also have the chance to refer more than one employee as well.
Foxconn said it aimed to improve benefits of employees at the Apple City. This move happens to be just one of such moves by the Taiwanese company.
