Nintendo has announced the addition of two new sets of Joy-Con colors to its Switch lineup. The sets will cost $79.99 when they are released on 30 June 2023 in North America and other regions. One set includes Pastel Purple and Pastel Green, while the other includes Pastel Pink and Pastel Yellow. These new Joy-Con choices will allow Switch players to customize their gaming experience with a muted and softer color palette.
Joy-Con Colors
Nintendo’s decision to offer pastel-colored Joy-Con controllers comes at a time when many Switch users are looking for new ones or want to improve the aesthetics of their gaming setup. These new Joy-Con controllers retain the same features as the original Joy-Con series. Thus, they come with an integrated wrist strap and HD rumble tech. The pastel-colored Joy-Cons are sold out on the My Nintendo Store. But you can pre-order them. They should arrive at other retailers soon.
Gizchina News of the week
The colorful Joy-Con controllers are quite good for Switch fans who have experienced issues such as joystick drift. This problem occurs when playing games for a long time. As a result, the Switch begins to detect unwanted joystick movements. While there are workarounds, such as switching to Hall Effect joysticks, Nintendo’s failure to provide an easier way to repair or replace their products has angered players and led to lawsuits.
Everybody 1-2-Switch
In addition to the new Joy-Con colors, Nintendo has shocked fans by releasing the Everybody 1-2-Switch, a sequel to the successful 2017 game 1-2-Switch. The latter makes gaming more fun showing all the amazing features of the Nintendo Switch console.
By launching new colorful Joy-Con sets and the upcoming release of Everybody 1-2-Switch, Nintendo continues to show its commitment to providing creative and fun gaming experiences for Switch customers. If players want to customize or play multiplayer games, these new additions enhance the flexibility and thrill of the Nintendo Switch platform.
