The developers of WhatsApp are determined to keep the growing excitement in the instant messaging realm. Other competing apps, such as Telegram, are renowned for their abundance of exciting features. In order not to lose the grip on its leadership, WhatsApp is equally packing up more fun-filled features.
A recent report by WABetaInfo has suggested that WhatsApp is getting prepared to release a redesigned keyboard. This new update takes the user experience on the instant messaging platform to the next level. The new update comes with the Android version 2.23.12.19. It is currently available on the Google Play Store for some beta testers.
Redesigned WhatsApp Keyboard, Changes to Expect
WhatsApp has implemented several changes to the keyboard to make it look a bit cleaner. With the new update, certain buttons will change positions. For example, the buttons to access GIFs, Avatars, and Stickers will now be positioned at the top of the keyboard. These three buttons will be organized as tabs. This will allow users to easily access each tab by just scrolling from left to right and vice versa.

In addition to this, the Search and Avatar configuration buttons have also been redesigned. The Avatar section has also seen a number of improvements. With these improvements, users can now be able to find and choose from different Avatar Packs easily.
In all, these updates enhance users’ ability to easily view the complete list of stickers within a pack. The redesigned GIFs and Sticker Picker will also make it easier for users to search for GIFs and Stickers. This will further improve the user experience of WhatsApp by saving users a lot of time.
Availability of the Redesigned WhatsApp Keyboard Feature 
As we have already stated, this new update is available to some beta testers on the Google Play Store. The company plans to make it accessible to more users in the coming days. Even though there is no solid information on the official rollout date, the general public should expect it in a few weeks or months.
