Samsung is already testing the OneUI 5.1.1 update on its upcoming foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5. CheckFirm tracked the Samsung firmware version update and found two unreleased models, SM-F731N and SM-F946N. The OneUI 5.1.1 update is based on Android 13 and is expected to come with new features.
The update is currently being tested on the South Korean variants of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 (SM-F731N) and the Galaxy Z Fold 5 (SM-F946N). The foldable clamshell Galaxy Z Flip 5 was spotted on Samsung’s servers running OneUI 5.1.1, thanks to firmware version F946NKSU0AWD5. The Galaxy Z Fold 5 was also seen with OneUI 5.1.1 firmware version F731NKSU0AWD5.
OneUI 5.1.1 update features
The OneUI 5.1.1 update is expected to come with new features. However, there is no official announcement yet on what these features are. Samsung mentions OneUI 5.1.1 in the changelog for the newest version of Nice Catch. The official changelog of the newly updated app mentions support for OneUI 5.1.1, along with some minor improvements and bug fixes. It probably means that OneUI 5.1.1 will be released soon, and the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5 could be the first phones released with it.

Final Words
Popular tech sites like Sammobile and Gadgets360 have confirmed that Samsung is testing the OneUI 5.1.1 update on its upcoming smartphones, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5. Phonearena reports that the new update will come with new features. However, the report does not list any new features that this update could bring. At the moment, there is no official confirmation and specific details about the expected features. Thus we can not report on what is not available. While it is certain that the new foldable phones will get this update, it is not certain for older Galaxy phones. However, just as it was with the OneUI 4.1.1 which arrived on older Galaxy phones after the launch of the Galaxy Z Flip 4, the OneUI 5.1.1 update will likely arrive on older Galaxy phones.
