Asus is all set to debut its latest flagship, the Asus Zenfone 10. As per the last official announcement, the phone will launch globally on June 29. And as a successor to the last year’s Zenfone 9, it will come with many upgrades.
If you are eyeing the device, you might want to know all that Asus Zenfone 10 has to bring to the table. The brand revealed all the key specifications days before the official launch. Moreover, Asus has let the press renders out in the wild, which tells you basically everything you need to know about the phone’s design.
A Closer Look At the Press Renders of Asus Zenfone 10
According to the press renders, it seems that Asus Zenfone 10 will retain the same design as the Zenfone 9. And that’s not a bad thing at all. The Asus Zefone 9 was well-received for having a compact form factor and a boxy design. And it’s good to see that Asus has stuck with the same design for the successor.
Nonetheless, as the renders show, the right side of the device has a volume rocker and power button. It seems Asus has placed the buttons in the right place to make them easier to access. And on the back, the Asus Zenfone 10 features two camera rings, which will house the primary and secondary cameras.
When it comes to color options, the Zenfone 10 press renders reveal that there will be five colors at launch. They are: black, white, blue, red, and a special green color variant. And if you asked me, the green color looks pretty sleek. Other than these, the press renders did not give any additional information about the device.
Confirmed Specs
Asus confirmed that the Zenfone 10 will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It is the latest flagship SoC for smartphones, which means that the device will be a compact powerhouse. The phone will also feature a 5.9-inch screen that will come with a punch-hole cutout on the top right.
Gizchina News of the week
It’s an AMOLED panel that will support 120Hz refresh. As the screen has a high refresh rate, you can expect to get a smooth experience while running apps. On that note, the Geekbench listing revealed that the Zenfone 10 will boast up to 16GB of RAM. So, you can multitask with ease.
What’s more interesting is that the Asus Zenfone 10 will have a six-axis Gimball stabilizer. Thanks to this, the phone can take steady shots and videos. Although, no clear information about the specs of the camera is out yet. We will need to wait till the official event for that.
Other than that, the Zenfone 10 will pack a 5000mAH battery that will support 67W fast charging. So, even though the phone is compact and small in size, you will not need to worry about the battery life too much.
Pricing Information of Asus Zenfone 10
Asus accidentally leaked the pricing of the Zenfone 10 back in May. If you missed it, the official website stated that the phone will have a retail value of $749. That’s for the 8GB/256GB variant. In comparison, the Zenfone 9 with the same configuration was $699 at launch. So, there will be a little price bump.
Still, a compact flagship device with high-end specs at $749 is not bad at all. We just need to wait and see how the software experience holds up against the current flagships. But considering the fact that Zenfone 9 offered a good UI experience, things might be pretty good for the Zenfone 10. Also, you should note that the Geekbench listing confirmed that it will come with Android 13 out of the box.
