Samsung is still in the process of making its wearables even better. The company has recently released a new update to enhance the sound of its Buds 2 Pro earbuds. Next, the South Korean company has shifted focus to another wearable. This time around, it is an improvement to its smartwatches. The company is preparing to introduce a new feature to its smartwatches. Sources have suggested that this new feature is a potential lifesaving feature. This feature is known as Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification (IHRN). The new feature will help users understand the health of their hearts and make Galaxy watches even better.
The IHRN is Galaxy Watch will Help Curb Atrial Fibrillation
Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) is a common heart problem. It is mainly about the irregularity of the heart’s rhythm which affects millions of people every year. A new projection by American Heart Association suggests that over 12 million people may be impacted by Atrial Fibrillation by the year 2030. With this new update to the Galaxy watches, users can be able to stay alert. The watch will notify users if the rhythm of the hearts suggests the presence of AFib.
This feature is not intended to replace any form of medical equipment. However, it will help the user to be able to seek medical attention quickly before things get serious. Any heart-related issue is a potential death threat; hence, this new feature will be a potential life saver for Galaxy watch users.
As you may already know, Galaxy watches come with many impressive health-monitoring features. The addition of IHRN will give users thorough insights into their cardiovascular well-being. The ability to detect potential heart problems at an early stage make smart watches facilitators of timely intervention and treatments. In the long run, this will go on to help save a lot of lives. Most heart-related issues usually manifest little to no symptoms at early stages. With the availability of the IHRN, users can be able to detect such issues quickly.
