Xiaomi is gearing up to introduce the Redmi K60 Ultra. The variant is set to join the Redmi K60 and K60 Pro in China, but to be worthy of the “Ultra” title should bring some neat upgrades. While we don’t get an official launch date for the phone, the brand keeps moving in backstage. Today, the alleged Redmi K60 Ultra passed the 3C certification in China. It confirms some details of the phone as well as its 120W fast-charging standard. It’s one of Xiaomi’s fastest charging speeds for modern smartphones.
Redmi K60 Ultra spotted at the 3C Certification Process
The Redmi K60 Ultra passed by the listing with the 23078RJD5C model number in the listing. It confirms 120W fast-charging support via the Xiaomi MDY-14-ED charger. The same charger is present on the Redmi K60 Pro. So we’re not exactly seeing an upgrade in the charging standard. But still, the 120W charging means that the Ultra will be among the fastest on Xiaomi’s gangs. The brand also has 210W charging, but apart from the Redmi Note 12 Explorer, no other device came with such charging speed.
Gizchina News of the week
According to the leaks, the Redmi K60 Ultra will launch as Xiaomi 13T Pro outside of China. However, there is no forecast for the release of the phone outside China. Obviously, if there is a Xiaomi 13T Pro we can also expect a vanilla variant to complete the series. The handset will launch with a 6.67-inch OLED panel with 144Hz refresh rate. The phone packs a triple-camera setup. The camera setup will bring two big lenses, probably one main and an ultrawide snapper, and a 2 MP small-sized macro lens.
Under the hood, the Ultra will bring a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 CPU. This chipset uses a 4nm manufacturing process and has 1 x ARM Cortex-X3 core at up to 3.05 GHz, 3 x ARM Cortex-A715 cores at up to 2.85 GHz, and 4x ARM Cortex-A510 cores clocked at up to 1.8 GHz. The GPU is the Immortalis-G715.
We expect more details about the Redmi K60 Ultra to emerge soon.
