A new version of Luigi’s Mansion is planned for the Nintendo Switch family of consoles: Dark Moon, which was first released on Nintendo 3DS in 2013, is on the road. We learned about this during the latest Nintendo Direct program. It also included some great news for fans of the Super Mario and Luigi’s Mansion franchises.

Dark Moon highlights
The Dark Moon sequel, also known as Luigi’s Mansion 2 in some parts of the world, offers players a spooky yet fun action-adventure game with plenty of mysteries to uncover and ghosts to catch. Nintendo fans have a soft spot for the earlier games in the series. But Luigi’s Mansion 3, which debuted on Nintendo Switch in 2019, stole the show by adding a new storyline and a variety of multiplayer mini-games.
For lovers of Nintendo’s earlier hardware, finding these classic games has become difficult since the Nintendo eShop was shut down for 3DS and Wii U devices. But what made fans happy is that Nintendo said that Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon is now in works and will come to Nintendo Switch soon. If nothing accidental happens, it will come next year. Players will be able to enjoy the classic single-player campaign on more modern technology with this enhanced edition.

Originally released on Nintendo 3DS, a visually enhanced version of Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon is currently in development for Nintendo Switch. Can Luigi summon the courage to save Evershade Valley? Explore haunted mansions full of spooky specters and bone-chilling challenges next year. More information will be available in the future.
Other games
We should also note that other video game remasters were also revealed during the Nintendo Direct event. The iconic SNES RPG Super Mario RPG is also getting a remaster for Nintendo Switch. The studio also talked about the yet-to-come Mario Kart 8 content, such as new tracks and returning characters.
Fans can also look forward to seeing the Mario brothers make a comeback in the side-scrolling platformer Super Mario Bros. Wonder, due out on 20 October this year, adding to an already impressive list of Nintendo titles. This is going to be a great year for Nintendo fans.
