The wait is almost over for all those waiting for new OnePlus Nord releases. On July 5, OnePlus will unveil the highly anticipated OnePlus Nord 3, along with the OnePlus Nord CE 3 and CE 3 Lite. Among these three, the Nord 3 is undoubtedly the most highly anticipated smartphone. OnePlus launched the OnePlus Nord 2 in 2021 and launched an incremental version in 2022. After almost two years, the brand is finally bringing the OnePlus Nord 3. To keep the hype alive, the company is slowly disclosing more details about the phone. Today, the company officially confirmed the specifications of the camera.
OnePlus published a couple of teaser images that confirm the specs of the Nord 3 and the Nord CE 3. Firstly, it confirms that the Nord 3 will feature a 50 MP Sony IMX890 camera sensor, aligning with the previous leaks. The primary camera will have Optical Image Stabilization. This marks a significant departure from the Ace 2V, the device upon which the Nord 3 is built. We also expect the Nord 3 to include the 8 MP ultrawide shooter and a third 2 MP macro module.

OnePlus also confirmed the Nord 3 will bring a 6.74-inch AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1080p resolution. The handset marks the return of the Alert Slider to the Nord series. It’s a fan-fave feature that left several OnePlus phones last year. In response to the displeasure of OnePlus fans, the brand is bringing it back. Moving on, the teaser also reveals an Alert Slider and two colors – Tempest Gray and Misty Green. The Nord 3 will pack the Dimensity 9000 and will bring a 5,000 mAh battery with 80W charging. We already know the phone’s look thanks to previously-leaked renders. Now we have these official images that the confirm the design.
The brand also took the opportunity to tease the OnePlus Nord CE 3. The device was recently confirmed to come with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G at the helm. Now, the brand has confirmed the phone’s design in its Aqua Surge paint job.
The OnePlus Nord CE 3 also had its display revealed: The phone comes with a 6.7-inch 120 Hz AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution. The CE 3 will also bring a 50 MP main camera with an 8 MP ultrawide shooter and a 2 MP macro module. The device will draw power from a 5,000 mAh battery.
As previously stated, the three new handsets will be revealed on July 5. We expect OnePlus to intensify its teaser campaign in the next few days.
