Nubia already confirmed the arrival of its new Red Magic 8S Pro gaming flagships for July 5. Now, the big surprise is the confirmation of a new Red Magic tablet coming on the same date. The device dubbed Red Magic Gaming Tablet will see the light of day on July 5 and will become a new trend for gaming tablets. Over the past few years, we have witnessed a surge in gaming phones, but there aren’t many gaming tablets. We can list the iQOO Pad, and now The Red Magic Gaming Tablet. Depending on what is coming, Nubia’s Gaming Pad has the potential to attract a lot of gamers seeking more than a smartphone’s display and battery.
Nubia teases its first-ever gaming tablet – The Red Magic Gaming Tablet
Nubia confirmed on its Weibo page the arrival of the new tablet. The Red Magic Gaming Tablet will bring relatively thin bezels, a single front-facing camera, and a huge display. In addition to the tablet, the company also confirmed today the launch of Red Magic Dao TWS Earbuds. These are flagship-tier audio wearables with “extreme aesthetics and performance”. Given the company’s focus on gaming, we expect them to bring low latency and an exclusive gaming mode. The teaser image also reveals a transparent design with a Blue LED light.
Gizchina News of the week
Apart from the design, Nubia did not disclose the specifications of the Red Magic Gaming Tablet. Since it’s a gaming tablet, we can expect flagship performance. So it’s either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 or the Dimensity 9200+ powering the tablet. The display should be around the 12.1-inch mark. There is a possibility that it will be a rebadged ZTE Axon Pad with a 10,000 mAh battery and a 605g body, but we will know if that is the case by Wednesday.
The event is drawing near, and Nubia had revealed many of the specs in the Red Magic 8S Pro. We already know it will boast an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and will bring a 6,000 mAh battery with 165W fast charging. We expect the brand to disclose more information regarding the Red Magic Table in the coming days. Hopefully, it will be a full-fledged gaming tablet with some of the features found in the gaming smartphone series. For instance, we are expecting it to include shoulder triggers, immersive audio, and a huge battery with fast-charging support.
Lastly, the company also took the opportunity to tease the Red Magic 8S Pro full-screen design. As we already know, the phone will bring back the Under-display Selfie Camera found in past Red Magic and ZTE smartphones.
All these new devices will be fully unveiled on July 5. Stay tuned for more teasers!
