Xiaomi recently unveiled the Xiaomi Pad 6 in China. The next installment for the company’s successful tablet lineup boasts decent specifications and is about to reach Europe. The company had taken India for the first international release. This was not a huge surprise, after all, India is Xiaomi’s second stronghold. However, the device’s launch in Europe is nearing, and we are starting to hear about the slate’s price in Europe and the United Kingdom.
Pricing in Europe
The Xiaomi Pad 6 will start at €399 for the variant with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of Internal Storage. The higher model with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of Internal Storage will cost about €499. In the United Kingdom, the new slate will start at £369.
We have to say that this price is quite interesting for a tablet like the Xiaomi Pad 6. It may be a good starting point for users that want a tablet with powerful specs and a large display. It is much better than the mid-range tablets we find often in the segment.
Xiaomi Pad 6 specifications
It’s a great device for multi-media and productivity with its 11-inch IPS LCD screen with 2,880 x 1,800 pixels resolution. The panel also brings a 144 Hz refresh rate, HDR10, and Dolby Vision support. The panel counts with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for scratch resistance.

The Xiaomi Pad 6 boasts the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. This chipset may be aging at this point but is still more powerful than the average mid-range chipsets we see in the market today. It brings 1 x ARM Cortex-A77 core clocked at up to 3.2 GHz, 3 x ARM Cortex-A77 cores clocked at up to 2.42 GHz, and 4 x ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 1.8 GHz. The Adreno 650 is responsible for handling the graphic tasks.
The slate sells in variants with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of Storage, 8 GB of RAM with 128 GB of Storage, and 8 GB of RAM with 256 GB of Storage. The slate has a single camera with 13 MP and Phase Detection Auto-Focus. There is also an 8 MP selfie shooter for video calls. One of the device’s highlights is its stereo sound powered by four speakers. It also brings Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2. There is a USB Type-C 3.2 with support for 33W fast charging. Keeping the lights on, we have an 8,840 mAh battery.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 dimensions are 254 x 165.2 x 6.5 mm and the device weighs about 490 grams. It runs MIUI 14 with the MIUI Pad skin to make the software more intuitive and enhance productivity on this screen. The Xiaomi Pad 6 has support for a keyboard case that should be sold separately.
There is also a Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, but that version will remain exclusive to China. Moving on, the Xiaomi Pad 6 will reach Europe in Blue and Gray color options. The Gold option won’t be available there. Xiaomi is yet to disclose the official launch date, but the next month could be a good starting point for guesses.
