WhatsApp is currently working on another update that will enhance the user experience of the instant messaging app. WABetaInfo reports that Meta is currently improving WhatsApp’s user interface with some tweaks.
iOS users can now update their app and experience this new update firsthand. Users on the iOS platform may have to update the app by visiting the app store to get the latest version.
The new update focuses on adding some modern effects to the tab and navigation bar. Meta has now given the tab and navigation bar a translucent effect. While a minor change, it provides users with a unique feel while using the app.
This change may bring a new user experience to WhatsApp. However, it is not entirely a new thing. Translucent effect was available in iOS 7, but WhatsApp discontinued it making its reasons known.

WABetaInfo has already confirmed the availability of the new update being available on the App Store. The new feature is already rolling out to WhatsApp users on iOS. Users can access it by updating their app to the latest version. Those with the latest version of WhatsApp but can’t still see the new changes can restart the app. It also worth noting that the rollout process is still ongoing. Therefore, users on iOS who don’t have it yet may have to wait a few more weeks. The WhatsApp tracking website confirmed the news by stating that:
“We can now confirm that a tweaked interface is finally available to more users with the latest update of the app from the App Store.”
