In May of this year, Oppo released the K11X, a mid-range phone that’s pretty much Oppo’s version of the OnePlus Nord CE3 Lite. However, recently, a new Oppo device has successfully passed multiple official certifications. And upon closer look, that new device turned out to be the Oppo K11, the non-X version of the recently released device.
All of these certifications indicated that the Oppo K11 is very close to launch. And today, we got exposure to the device’s official promo video. This video does not only give details about the design of the phone, but it has confirmed that the phone will come with a flagship-grade camera sensor, the IMX890.
A Closer Look at the Official Video of Oppo K11 and the Camera Sensor
When it comes to the design of the Oppo K11, it boasts a sleek and modern design that’s reminiscent of the Oppo Reno 9 series. As a matter of fact, the new smartphone closely aligns with the OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G model, which has just been launched in India.
Additionally, the official video of the Oppo K11 reveals that the phone will be equipped with an IMX890 sensor. For those wondering, this is the same primary sensor found in the Oppo Find X6 devices, a flagship lineup known for its camera capabilities.
However, that sensor did not make it past the flagship series. As a result, the Oppo K11 will be the first mid-range device to feature the IMX890. This would mean that you can enjoy most of the camera features that the flagship Find X6 devices offer without needing to put a dent in your wallet.
Other Specs of the Device
If you are not updated with the recent news about the Oppo K11, the device aims to compete with the Honor X50. That honor phone is priced at 1399 yuan, which is around $195. This confirms that the upcoming Oppo device falls within the mid-range price range.
Gizchina News of the week
The screen of the Oppo K11
Official TENNA and 3C certifications have confirmed that the K11 will feature a 6.7-inch display. It’s an AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. This means that the device will offer a smooth, crisp, and fluid viewing experience.
Camera Configuration
The certifications have also revealed that the Oppo K11 will feature a 16MP camera on the front. And on the back, Oppo has integrated the 50MP IMX890, 8MP wide camera, and 2MP depth sensor. This configuration is on par with the latest mid-range releases. However, as you can tell, Oppo will have an advantage for the iMX890 primary sensor.
Processor of the Oppo K11
The certifications did not directly state the name of the SoC. However, we did get the clock frequency and configuration of the processor. So, according to the official certifications, the Oppo K11 will feature an octa-core process that has a clock frequency of 2.7 GHz.
This configuration matches the config of Snapdragon 782G. And Snapdragon 782G is a high-end mid-range. So, if Oppo does come with this chipset, you can expect to get smooth performances in all day-to-day apps and games.
Battery
One of the highlights of the Oppo K11 will be its battery. According to the certifications, the device will feature a 4870mAH battery. It’s typical capacity is 5000mAH, which means the phone can offer a reliable runtime with a single charge. To be exact, this battery capacity is even better than some of the current flagships.
In addition, the Oppo K11 will come with 100W fast charging support. This will enable you to get the battery from 0 to 100% extremely fast.
