Starfield, Bethesda’s much-awaited space game, has created a buzz among gamers who can’t wait to see this amazing game. By the way, it has all chances to become the Game of the Year. Players are already planning epic voyages and preparing to spend endless hours in yet another immersive open-world RPG from Bethesda. It promises to take you to more than 1,000 planets to explore using unique spaceships in its vast cosmos.
But some avid fans who pre-ordered Starfield’s coveted Constellation Edition got messages stating that the firm canceled their purchases. What’s worse, no one explained why.
One user, Beltaine-7716, wrote: “I’m more than a little concerned about the order update I just got.” The user also attached tracking info, showing that the purchases had been canceled. Several others shared similar stories, raising the question of whether this was a bug or a widespread problem.

At this stage, this appears to have affected the PC version of the Constellation Edition, with Xbox users reporting no problems. Many people believe that the source of these strange cases is the provider. They think it’s server problems, not on purpose.
We need to note that these may be unique cases, and there is still hope that the Constellation Edition will come at launch. But with only a few copies left, more cancellations could be terrible for serious fans and Starfield lovers.
Walmart canceled Starfield pre-orders as well
Apart from this, Walmart has been called out for canceling pre-orders for the Constellation Edition. Users on Reddit and Twitter reported that their pre-orders had been charged $0.00 or canceled “by mistake”. Customer service didn’t things clear, but vice versa. When talking to buyers, they said they see no issues with purchases. Later, users got messages saying otherwise.
