OnePlus is gearing up to introduce a new smartphone in the Ace series. After the OnePlus Ace 2 and the Ace 2V, the firm is gearing up to launch the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro. The device will bring significant upgrades. For instance, it will bring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (the Ace 2 has the SD8+ Gen 1). Now, China’s 3C Certification Agency confirms the smartphone will bring 150W fast-charging support. It’s an interesting development and means that future OnePlus Ace 2 Pro owners will be able to charge this phone quite fastly.
OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is Confirmed with 150W Fast-Charging
The 3C certification confirms the OnePlus Ace 2 Pr with the same PJA110 Identifier. It was seen in the previous listings and comes bundled with the VCBEJACH model number power adapter. This power adapter offers support for up to 150W charging speeds (11V/13.7A). That’s faster than the OnePlus 11 which had variants with 80W and 100W charging. The new Ace 2 Pro will charge as fast as the OnePlus 10T from last year. It had the same charging tech. In fact, this Ace 2 Pro should launch on global markets as OnePlus 11T and that could explain the similarities.
Gizchina News of the week
Apart from the charging speed, the Geekbench website confirmed the phone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. It will also bring up to 24 GB RAM, and 1 TB of Internal Storage. Offering 24 GB of RAM will be a remarkable step for OnePlus. It also marks an interesting push for the smartphone industry. Although 24 GB of RAM should not be needed at this point, still, the multi-tasking capabilities on this smartphone will be excellent.
