Vivo is gearing up to introduce a trio of new smartphones for the Vivo V-series. The devices are namely Vivo V29, V29 Pro, and V29e, and will join the existing V29 Lite. These devices will carry on the legacy of the series with style, decent specifications, and powerful cameras with a focus on selfie photography. Ahead of their release, the trio of smartphones appeared on the Google Play Support Devices List and the FCC.
Vivo V29 and Vivo V29 Pro – Fast-Charging and Battery Details Revealed
The Vivo V29 will bring a 4,505 mAh battery with 80W fast-charging support. It’s a nice upgrade over the Vivo V27 and, curiously, overcomes the fast charging on the Vivo V29 Pro. The Pro variant will bring a slightly “slower” 66W charging, but it has a larger capacity of 5,000 mAh. In fact, pairing large batteries with fast charging is a challenge. Apparently,. Vivo has chosen the capacity over the charging speed of the Vivo V29 Pro. If you want capacity, the Vivo V29 Pro will be the option, but if you’re up for faster charging, then the vanilla will serve you better.
Gizchina News of the week
Under the hood, the V29 Pro will pack the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC. The vanilla, on the other hand, will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+. Both will be paired with 8 GB of RAM and 128GB or 256 GB of Internal Storage. The two smartphones will bring AMOLED displays with 120 Hz refresh rate and powerful selfie cameras. As of now, Vivo did not provide many details regarding its specifications. However, the company confirmed the battery capacity and charging on the Vivo V29 Pro. Vivo is slowly teasing the specs in these new handsets, in a bid to build the hype for their imminent release.
The Vivo V29e specifications are still unclear, but the phone should be the weaker of the trio. However, sacrificing some of the premium features, it will also be more affordable than the other two like the Vivo V27e was for the Vivo V27 series.
For now, there is no word on the release date for the Vivo V29 series. Considering the number of certifications and Benchmarks, these devices are not much far. We are eagerly waiting for their release, and to see what Vivo has in tow for the selfie lovers.
