Chinese manufacturing giant, Redmi announced today that the global launch of the Redmi 12 5G will hold in India on August 1st. This device with decent specs and a good price could be a game changer for the company. According to the Twitter post, Redmi claims that this device will “reshape connectivity and unleash a new era of possibilities”.
Redmi 12 5G – an upgrade in connectivity
The Redmi 12 5G will be just an upgrade from the Redmi 12 but only in the connectivity aspect. The Redmi 12 supports only 4G but the Redmi 12 5G will add the latest 5G network.
One of the standout features of the Redmi 12 is its “crystal glass design”. This design element adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to the smartphone, making it visually appealing. The exact details of the design are yet to be revealed, but based on the teaser images, we can expect a sleek and modern look. Xiaomi launched the Redmi 12 in June this year and it uses a 6.79-inch FHD + resolution LCD screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz. There are reports that the Redmi 12 5G will also come with a similar display.

Just like the Redmi 12, this device should have a powerful performance, stylish design, and affordable price. Stay tuned for more updates and detailed reviews as the Redmi 12 hits the market.
it’s a lie to say redmi 12 made it global. Redmi 12 doesn’t exist in China. It’s a fabrication made for external markets. And it’s an old phone recycled into a new one. The G88 is an old cheap coming from the Redmi 11 generation. They just recycled their parts and changed the name to make a “new” phone. Redmi doesn’t do Simple redmi anymore, aside from Redmi 12C which is also a recycled tech phone, and redmi 10. All Redmi now are either Redmi Notes or Redmi K series.
So… it “didn’t” go global. It’s a lesser creation for the global market.
