Samsung Galaxy S24+ Shows the Power of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 on Geekbench
The Samsung Galaxy S24+ appeared on the popular Geekbench benchmarking website with model number SM-S926. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It features a prime core clocked at 3.3 GHz, 3x cores clocked at 3.15 GHz, 2 x Cores at 2.96 GHz, and 2x cores at 2.27 GHz. The new flagship CPU follows a 1 + 3 + 2 + 2 core arrangement. The listing also confirms the presence of the new Adreno 750 GPU. The device scored 2,233 points in the single-core test and an impressive 6,661 points in the multi-core test. Besides the Geekbench website, the Samsung Galaxy S24+ also passed the TUV certification. It was certified alongside its higher-end sibling, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Thanks to the listing, both devices had their battery capacities confirmed.
The Samsung Galaxy S24+ is listed on TUV with a 4,755 mAh rated capacity, the battery has the EB-BS926ABY identifier. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is equipped with a 4,855 mAh rated battery with the EB-BS926ABY model number. These two batteries can be the first to support Samsung’s new 65W fast-charging standard. The Samsung Galaxy S24+ and S24 Ultra will boast Super AMOLED displays with up to Quad HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The Ultra should introduce a new iteration of Samsung’s 200 MP camera, and will once again bring the S Pen stylus with an integrated slot.
