Adding to the excitement, Xiaomi recently teased the release of the Smart Band 8 Pro on August 14, 2023. This smart band serves as an upgrade to the regular version of the fitness tracker. While the rest of the world is still using the Xiaomi Smart Band 7, available on platforms like Amazon, the Chinese market is already getting ready for the Pro model, featuring a larger 1.74-inch display, as revealed by teaser posters on Xiaomi’s Chinese Smart Ecology Weibo profile.

Compared to its predecessor‘s 1.64-inch AMOLED panel, the Smart Band 8 Pro’s display is more impressive. It boasts a 60 Hz refresh rate, 336 ppi pixel density, and a maximum of 16.7 million displayable colors. These specifications bring it closer to the dimensions of a smartwatch. Xiaomi also promises a wide range of interchangeable bracelets in various colors and styles. The “widgets” on the Smart Band 8 Pro will resemble those found on smartwatches. Allowing users to view media players and heart rate information simultaneously. Moreover, these widgets will be customizable to suit individual preferences.

With the launch just around the corner, Xiaomi fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Smart Band 8 Pro and other exciting products that will be present at the event.
