But those are not the only devices that Xiaomi plans to unveil at the event. It has just been announced that the event will also bring the Redmi K60 Ultra.
For those who are unaware, the Redmi K60 Ultra will be the last device of the K60 lineup. With it, Xiaomi will be done with the series and focus on the K70 lineup. And as you might have guessed, the Ultra naming means that the device will be packed with features.
Main Highlights of the Redmi K60 Ultra
The Redmi K60 Ultra is one of the highly anticipated devices from Xiaomi, as the market well received the other two K60 phones. That said, Xiaomi has confirmed a lot of key specs of the phone. To start with, the device will pack Dimensity 9200+, which is a flagship chipset from MediaTek. As far as the performance goes, this MediaTek chipset is neck and neck with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It gets 1724 in single-core and 4859 in multi-core scores on Geekbench.
The Redmi K60 Ultra will feature a 1.5K display with a 144Hz refresh rate on the front. Here, the interesting part is that the Redmi K60 and K60 Pro debuted with a 1440p panel. But for the Ultra, Xiaomi has opted for a 1220p display, which is a downgrade from the two K60 devices. But, speaking from personal experience, 1220p displays can offer crisp and well-detailed images. So, you shouldn’t have any major complaints regarding the panel.

When it comes to storage and RAM, there will be a variant with 1TB of storage and 24GB of RAM. That means you can effortlessly multi-task, store large files, and run resource-intensive games and games with the Redmi K60 Ultra. The phone will also come with a robust camera configuration on the back.
As per the announcement, the Redmi K60 Ultra will sport a 50MP primary camera, an ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP portrait on the back. There’s no official information available for the pricing. But Xiaomi released the K50 Ultra for $415, and the K60 Pro costs around $505. Considering that, it would be safe to assume that the starting price will be anywhere from $600 to $700.
