On the other hand, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy features a prime core that’s clocked at 3.36 GHz. As I’ve covered earlier, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy is no longer exclusive to Samsung devices. Qualcomm has rebranded it as Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 and made it available to other manufacturers.
Nonetheless, the Geekbench results show that the phone scores 2071 in single-core and 5419 in multicore tests. These scores are expected from a device with an overclocked 8 Gen 2 or 8+ Gen 2 chipset. Mix Fold 3 also comes with up to 16GB of RAM. So, the phone should deliver flagship-grade performance.
For those who missed our recent coverage about the Mix Fold 3, the other specs of the phone are great too. The foldable comes with 8.02 inches inner screen and 6.5 inches outer display. Both have 120Hz refresh rates and boast high resolution. The phone also has a quad camera system on the back and has the thinnest foldable form factor to date.
